YouTube Star Keenan Cahill Passed Away
A spokesperson for Youtube star Keenan Cahill confirmed he died yesterday. It was known knowledge that he had Maroteaux–Lamy syndrome and he let the fans know he was having open-heart surgery on December 15th. Although the surgery went seemingly well, the 27 year old was suffering complications.
Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome is a progressive condition that causes many tissues and organs to enlarge, become inflamed or scarred, and eventually waste away (atrophy), according to MedlinePlus. Patients with the syndrome can also have cardiac problems that typically include heart valve abnormalities.
Back in 2010 is when young Cahill became a hit. His adorable videos lit up your day as he sang along to various popular songs. Soon celebrities like Jimmy Kimmel and Katy Perry noticed him. Then he began collaborating with artists and doing videos with them like 50 Cent in “Down on Me”, and more.
His vibrant personality and positive attitude captured the hearts of many who followed him. Cahill will be missed. RIP.
