Ryan Reynolds is shedding new light on Taylor Swift’s connection to his children.
After the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker revealed she’s the godmother to one of his kids, the Deadpool star clarified exactly which of his and Blake Lively’s four children—James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and Olin, born in 2023—has the Grammy-winning artist in their corner.
“She’s the godparent to my daughters,” Ryan shared in an interview with Deadline published on Nov. 13.
The Free Guy actor also expressed his gratitude for Taylor acknowledging her special bond with his family on social media, humorously adding, “That’s something I’d like on my gravestone, to be honest.”
Ryan couldn’t help but marvel at the reach of Taylor’s Instagram tribute, which not only celebrated her godmother status but also gave a shoutout to his and Hugh Jackman’s work on Deadpool & Wolverine. With over 273 million followers, Taylor’s influence isn’t lost on him.
“That was incredibly kind,” Ryan said, before joking, “Actually, it’s more than kind—you could probably measure box office success based on Taylor doing something like that.”
