The recent album “An Evening With Silk Sonic” has been certified as platinum in the United States and Bruno Mars says it is thanks to the fans. Created by the Silk Sonic duo Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars, the album and artists already won four Grammy’s earlier this year for Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year.
This is by far a milestone for the musical duo who met only six years ago before. During the early days of the pandemic, working on this album helped get them through. Mars told LA Times, “Andy had been performing and I’d been performing, and then it all went away”.
Music can truly get you through hard times. The fans keep the artists going who keep the creativity flowing.
