From making music in his bedroom in Scotland to the worldwide recognition of being featured on the biggest live-streamed show on the internet—CeeVert’s rapid rise is clearly a recipe for success.
The rap artist from the UK is currently in the spotlight after making a cameo on Kai Cenat’s viral Twitch stream—watched by hundreds of thousands.

“I went from being in my bed across the other side of the world to being on a live stream with the biggest creator at the moment in less than 24 hours,” CeeVert, 27, told Artist Uncut.
The experience, he says, was a crash course in how sometimes taking a risk can lead to life-altering possibilities.
“Being around these big creators helped me develop into the artist I had to be,” he said. “It showed me that anxiety is only temporary when you take action.”
Growing up in Scotland, CeeVert was still exposed to American rap music.
“From the early days of 50 Cent and Eminem, I was wearing baggy basketball-style fits with snapbacks and durags from the age of seven,” he said
New York’s A$AP Rocky eventually became one of CeeVert’s biggest sources of inspiration
“He taught me to always shine above people’s perspectives. Being from Harlem, no one understood his swag at first, but once it evolved, people were instantly drawn to it,” CeeVert said.
That same mentality commanded CeeVert’s approach to his music—not afraid to stand out from the rest, and even using being an outsider to his advantage.
Dreams of making it big in the rap game aren’t hard to come by, but CeeVert warned that success doesn’t come from stagnation, but rather from his commitment to making moves.
“Blessings never come to people who sit and wait—you have to take action,” he said. “Rap is very oversaturated, and to stand out, you have to do things other people can’t. But most importantly, lead by example.”
CeeVert can be heard on all major streaming platforms, with his newest single A.S.A.P. dropping today.
