The DaeDal Effect – Florida Rapper Goes Global with Hits in Heavyweights Like South Africa
Originally from Georgia, one dedicated rapper relocated to Florida in 2016 to pursue his passion for music.
“I moved to Florida in 2016. That’s when I really started doing my music,” he told Artist Uncut.
Beyond his musical pursuits, DaeDal has ventured into the business world, establishing a luxury transportation service and a natural skincare line.
The Florida climate posed challenges for DaeDal’s skin, inspiring him to delve into skincare solutions.
“When I moved to Florida, the heat and everything took a real toll on my skin because I wasn’t used to it,” he candidly revealed.
Adopting the moniker ‘Treetop Child,’ DaeDal described its significance as symbolic.
“It’s poetic—when you’re in the jungle, you climb to the top of the tallest tree. So, the ‘treetop child’ represents how I had to go through many obstacles, but I made it to the top.”
DaeDal has garnered attention from notable artists, including Rod Wave, who reposted one of his songs.
Looking ahead, he expresses a desire to collaborate beyond the hip-hop genre.
“I definitely look forward to working with a lot of different artists, maybe not even in the hip hop lane, but maybe even the pop lane, working with certain women artists as well.”
Navigating the complexities of the music industry, DaeDal remains grounded in his spirituality.
He emphasized the importance of staying true to oneself.
“I just try to make sure that I stay prayed up and stick to my morals.”
With a clear vision for the future, DaeDal aims to become a household name and expand his musical reach internationally.
“I have a song that I made in 2021 that’s blowing up in Africa right now.”
DaeDal’s music can be heard on all major streaming platforms.
