It has been one month since the fatal shooting of music group Migos rapper TakeOff after during a squabble outside a bowling alley in Houston. TakeOff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, was caught in the middle of a fight even though he was only a bystander.
Houston Police have been searching tirelessly for the killer which has lead to the arrest of two people in connection with the incident.
Houston Police Chief Troy Finner spoke in a news conference on Thursday where he said 33 year old Patrick Xavier Clark was arrested in connection with the murder.
“I can tell you that Takeoff was not involved in playing in the dice game, he was not involved in the argument that happened outside,” Burrow said. “He was not armed, he was an innocent bystander.”
“Definitely wrong place at the wrong time, no evidence whatsoever to say anything different,” Finner added.
The chief also said the second person, Cameron Joshua, was arrested Nov. 22 on a charge of felony possession of weapon but the sargeant confirmed the lethal shooter as Clark.
“We were able to deduce that Patrick Clark is the lethal shooter in the case, and that’s why he’s being charged with murder,” Houston Police Department Sgt. Michael Burrow said.
