Passionate and Talented Music Artist Saydez Benz and Latest Song ‘Money Baby’
Meet talented singer Saydez Benz from the Antelope Valley. The name Saydez Benz is her alias from the street life and it is only fitting as she grows and expresses herself as a unique artist.
Originally from Los Angeles, her upbringing taught her to consistently “think outside the box” as she put it. She continued, “I’ve always marched to the beat of my own drum and defied societal norms, so I had to create my own avenue to attract like-minded individuals.”
To her, music is truly an outlet for all her inner thoughts, allowing her to fully be herself. Music makes her mind, body, and soul feel like “paradise.” It uplifts her. Through music she expresses her emotions, and “sustain efficacy in music, and share my view of the world by utilizing emotional intelligence doing what I love.”
We wanted to know who has inspired or influenced Saydez most in her life:
I grew up with lots of friends, but I chose to be alone a lot. I had a fascination with wanting to be on TV, in music videos and movies. I was always listening to music and watching movies by myself. Timberland, Busta Rhymes, Twista, Lil Wayne, Aaliyah, TLC, Destiny’s Child and DMX has been an inspiration to me.
Do you have a favorite moment so far in your career?
My favorite moment in my career was being able to release my own music as an independent artist. It feels good to be able to say, “I did that.” I look forward to working with more people in the industry and thankful for the ones I have worked with.
What were you doing before music?
Before music I was aspiring to be an actress, interning at a financial firm, and working at a smoke shop as a cashier. I have attended classes for John Casablanca’s Modeling and Career Center as a teen and Stars Talent Studio, Utah in my adult years.
Tell us the name of the project you are currently promoting? What inspired this project?
The current project I am promoting is called ‘Money Baby’. It’s like a shot of caffeine in your afternoon expresso, with a spicy melody to entice you with a bit passion and boldness.
Is there a specific lyric on this track that speaks to you most?
“If you want to step to me, you better come with something baby…” I believe a man should court a woman to show genuine interest, and signify to a woman that he has chosen her and is worth giving back to. Love is a fierce dance, like a chase between two souls, passion burns.
Is there a hobby or business you do outside of music that you would like to share with us?
Outside of music I attended college, double majoring in psychology and liberal arts. I have a clothing line on the rise almost ready to launch, and I practice a spiritual lifestyle with tarot, divinations, Norse codes, and reiki healing.
Saydez Benz has some music projects currently in the works with visuals to go along with them. She desires to inspire her fans to embrace their own worth and potential. “Once you unlock that level inside you, the only way from there is up. We all have a story to tell no matter how unique it may be, someone needs to hear it and know they are not alone.”
