In a tweet posted earlier today, West stated, “I wish Cudi hadn’t testified against Puff. We need to not be locked in white systems. Praying for Puff and his family” .

Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, testified on May 22, 2025, detailing a brief relationship with Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s former partner. Mescudi recounted incidents including a break-in at his home and the firebombing of his Porsche, which he believes were acts of retaliation by Combs .
