Jennifer Lopez Reflects on Divorce, Scrapped Tour, and Finding Inner Strength
In a candid interview for Interview magazine’s special fall edition, Jennifer Lopez opened up about her recent personal struggles, including her divorce from Ben Affleck, the cancellation of her tour, and dealing with online criticism.
Speaking with comedian Nikki Glaser, Lopez discussed the emotional toll of her split and how it coincided with her album release, a documentary, and overwhelming media scrutiny. “It felt like everything in my life just blew up,” she shared, acknowledging the difficulty of juggling her public persona with private challenges.
Lopez, known for her resilience, decided to step back and focus on herself over the summer. She spent time alone, reflecting on her personal growth. “It was hard, but it made me realize that I can find joy and happiness on my own,” Lopez revealed. “Being single doesn’t define me anymore.”
