Jelly Roll’s Ready to Roll Out with His BACKROAD BAPTISM TOUR

Following the success of his hit single “Son of a Sinner” topping the Billboard Country Airplay chart in January 2023, crossover country-rap star Jelly Roll has announced the Backyard Baptism Summer Tour’. From May through August, the tour will make stops at amphitheaters, county fairs, festivals and arenas throughout North America, with a particularly noteworthy appearance at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Darien Center, NY on Aug. 3.
But that’s not all – he won’t be touring alone. Joining him will be an impressive roster of special guests, including Ashley McBryde, Chase Rice, Elle King, Merkules, Struggle Jennings, Three 6 Mafia, Yelawolf and comedian Josh Adam Meyers on select dates. “Don’t miss it when this circus comes to your town,” he encouraged fans on Instagram.
Tickets officially go on sale Friday, Feb. 24 via Ticketmaster, but you can also secure your seat ahead of time on secondary market sites like Vivid Seats, with the peace of mind of their 100% buyer guarantee. Prices may vary, but you can always count on your transaction to be safe and secure and to have the tickets delivered before the event.
The tour kicks off in Key West, FL’s Coffee Butler Amphitheater on May 5, with stops in Virginia Beach (Aug. 12), Milwaukee (Aug. 18), Las Vegas (Sept. 1), Phoenix (Sept. 16) and Lexington (Oct. 10) along the way before culminating in Tampa’s MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fair Grounds on Oct. 14. He will also be headlining the four-day Tailgates and Tallboys Festival in Bloomington, IL from June 14-17 alongside Nickelback, Chase Rice and Warren Zeiders, plus a handful of co-headlining concerts with Eric Church throughout the year.

If you want a taste of the artists that will be joining him, check out their most streamed songs (or in Josh Adam Meyers’ case, his podcast) on Spotify: Ashley McBryde’s “One Night Standards”, Chase Rice’s “Eyes On You”, Elle King’s “Ex’s & Oh’s”, Merkules’ “Bass”, Struggle Jennings’ “Fall in the Fall”, Three 6 Mafia’s “Stay Fly”, Yelawolf’s “Till It’s Gone” and Josh Adam Meyers’ “The 500”.
While we wait for Jelly Roll’s highlyanticipated debut country album in April or May of 2023, you can listen to the album’s expected lead singles, “Need A Favor” and “She” here.
Other country stars to watch out for this year include Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Kane Brown, Chris Stapleton and Scotty McCreery. Make sure to catch one of these talented stars on the road before the year is out.
