It’s been six years since superstar Britney Spears has released new music and what better way to rise again to the surface than with the legendary Elton John. This weekend the two world renowned music artists released a song together in the revamp of Elton’s hit 1970s Single “Tiny Dancer”, called “Hold Me Closer”.
For the 13 years Britney was a slave in her conservatorship. Now that she has her freedom back it’s time to start doing what Britney knows and loves best which is making music. We are told this is just a warmup and another album is in the works from the popstar.
The new song “Hold Me Closer” is a lovely rendition of the original song. Britney’s voice is prominent with her female vocals puncturing through the track and recognizeable adlips. Elton holds true to what we love about his music and voice, which is upbeat and heart-felt. It has made it to No. 1 on the UK’s Biggest Chart Show’s Top 40 list.
