On Friday, July 29 Beyoncé blessed the world with another and arguably poetic album called “Renaissance”. The controversy lies with her fans who argue whether this album is life-changing like her record “Lemonade” which was released in 2016. The album compared had soul, and depth, and gave us hints of her personal life to tell the tale of a true story and keep listeners hooked.

The song “Church Girl” is one of the favorite songs on the album. Overall her past musical influences come through and even small throwbacks if you listen carefully but this album is very different from her previous works. Relative beats and modern lyrics to fit today’s music world was an obvious jump on this album, leaving fans who have been with her all these years feeling 50/50.

We are continuously in awe of Beyoncé’s hard work and dedication to her people. The overall female empowerment and self-love shining through each song shows commitment to her followers and especially her females. The level of encouragement in the lyrics of “Renaissance” keeps the world moving and with a positive impact.. Beyoncé once said “Who runs the world, girls,” and this statement only expands and becomes more powerful with each project she puts out. Encouraging her female fans to be the best version of themselves.
