Friday November 11th, friends, family, and fans will be saying an official goodbye to Migos rapper TakeOff. Hosting the funeral is Atlanta State Farm Arena and the family kept it open to fans.
TakeOff was tragically gunned down early Tuesday morning November 1st in Houston as the result of a fight Quavo was involved with. Fans all over the world and friends who knew him personally have been mourning the great loss.
The music artist, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, grew up in Georgia and was only 28 years old. The group Migos took off in popularity in 2013 when their song “Versace” went viral and peaked at number 99 on the Billboard Hot 100.
According to TMZ, the celebration of life will feature a performance from Justin Bieber, with whom Takeoff collaborated on the Culture III song “What You See.” Alicia Keys will also be making a performance in tribute.
