“I’m pleased as punch!” Adele said today on her Instagram post after winning an Emmy award for her CBS concert special, “Adele: One Night Only.” The famous singer officially has all major American awards but one. All she needs to complete the EGOT is a Tony.
As she cutely posed with the Emmy statue, she also said “I’m so so honored to receive this. Big up to everyone involved.” 
Adele’s November special coincided with the release of her fourth studio album, “30,” a production she called her “ride or die throughout the most turbulent period of my life.” A special sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey was also featured where Adele discussed her weight loss, divorce and family relationships.
The singer and writer has led an incredible career so far, winning 15 Grammys and an Oscar for the James Bond theme song “Skyfall” ahead of her weekend nod for outstanding variety special at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which honors “outstanding artistic and technical achievement”.
At this time there is no news for upcoming projects for the young artist. Her most recent album “30” hit Billboard Top 100 with new song “Easy On Me”.
